The average lifespan of these businesses is more than 3 years. The fixed cost burden borne is relatively low where the industrial location area is owned by the company. This shows that the brick business is relatively easy if it want to entry the market, especially in Bireuen. The purpose of this study is to highlight market size and product diversification as important aspects to be reviewed in an effort to develop the brick industry leading to a more profitable business venture in Bireuen Regency. This research was conducted using experimental-based primary data obtained from 199 business units in the Peusangan, Kota Juang, and Jeumpa sub-districts as production center areas. The methods of data and analysis with using the approaches; (i) Total Addressable Market (TAM), (ii) Serviceable Available Market (SAM), and (iii) Share of Market (SOM). Research shows that each brick business controls less than 2 percent of the market share. To expand the market size to the Regency’s Pidie Jaya and Bener Meriah, and even to Aceh Tengah and Pidie Regencies, it is necessary to diversify brick products by offering a variety of sizes and textures and adding additives. Thus, the brick industry has a competitive advantage over other products, such as lightweight bricks or concrete blocks.

2025-09-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 hismendi hismendi https://academicareview.com/index.php/jh/article/view/288 Social Media-Based Political Campaign Strategies and the Impact of Filter Bubbles and Echo Chambers on the Electability of Presidential Candidates in the 2024 Election in Indonesia. 2025-08-05T15:07:38+00:00 Danial Dengo Ate atedanial153@gmail.com Muhammad Ridwan muhammad.ridhwan@uta45jakarta.ac.id Samsul Ode samsul.ode@uta45jakarta.ac.id
This research investigates how filter bubbles and echo chambers on Facebook and Instagram shape Indonesia's 2024 presidential election campaign. The research addresses the issue of social media algorithms amplifying selective exposure, which can deepen political polarization and limit voters' access to diverse viewpoints. This research aims to analyze campaign strategies in a digital environment, assess their influence on candidate electability among young voters, and examine the role of algorithms in shaping political information consumption. Using a qualitative approach, this research employs thematic content analysis on campaign posts, public comments, and screenshot data from Facebook profiles, supported by sentiment analysis. The results show that campaign teams strategically leveraged social media algorithms to customize messages, reinforce confirmation bias and amplify ideological divisions. Sentiment analysis of 100 online comments about the free lunch program showed that 39% were negative, 35.4% neutral, and only 25.6% positive, indicating prevalent skepticism. This research concludes that algorithm-based campaign strategies significantly impact messaging and voter perceptions, especially among digitally active youth, highlighting the need for more transparent algorithms and media literacy to support healthier democratic engagement.
2025-09-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Danial Dengo Ate, Muhammad Ridwan, Samsul Ode https://academicareview.com/index.php/jh/article/view/301 Bridging Faith and Finance: The Role of Financial Literacy and Behavior in Sharia-Compliant Fintech Adoption Among Entrepreneurs in Indonesia 2025-08-25T15:13:55+00:00 Nabila Hidayati nabilalsm6@gmail.com Hismendi Hismendi hismendi76@gmail.com Busra busra@pnl.ac.id
This study aims to examine the influence of financial knowledge and financial behavior on the interest in using Islamic financial technology (fintech) lending, with Sharia compliance as a moderating variable among MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) entrepreneurs in Lhokseumawe City. This is a field research employing a quantitative descriptive approach. The population comprises 6,352 MSME actors in Lhokseumawe, with samples selected through purposive sampling. A total of 144 respondents were included in the sample. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that: (1) Financial knowledge and financial behavior have a positive and significant influence on Sharia compliance; (2) Sharia compliance and financial behavior significantly influence the interest in using Islamic fintech, while financial knowledge does not have a direct effect on fintech usage interest; (3) Sharia compliance fully mediates the relationship between financial knowledge and fint ech usage interest, and partially mediates the relationship between financial behavior and fintech usage interest. These findings highlight the importance of adherence to Sharia principles as a key factor influencing the interest of entrepreneurs in adopting Sharia-based fintech services.
2025-09-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nabila Hidayati, Hismendi Hismendi, Busra https://academicareview.com/index.php/jh/article/view/308 Analysis of Financial Performance of Sharia Banking Using the Islamicity Performance Index Approach in Sharia Banking in Indonesia 2025-09-18T15:29:39+00:00 husnul khatimah husnul123789@gmail.com Suzanna Akter Rani SuzannaAkterRani@gmail.com
The Islamic banking sector is pivotal in fostering an economy aligned with Islamic principles, yet conventional performance metrics often fail to capture Sharia compliance comprehensively. This study employs the Islamicity Performance Index (IPI) to evaluate the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, integrating financial and ethical dimensions. The research addresses the question: How does the financial performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia align with the IPI? Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study analyses three purposively sampled banks—Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank BCA Syariah, and Bank Syariah Indonesia—over the period 2021–2023. The IPI framework assesses five key indicators: Profit Sharing Ratio, Zakat Performance Ratio, Equitable Distribution Ratio, Directors-Employee Welfare Ratio, and Islamic Investment vs. Non-Islamic Investment. Findings reveal that these banks demonstrate a commitment to aligning operations with Islamic principles, particularly in maintaining 100% Sharia-compliant investments. However, challenges persist, including low zakat contributions, significant welfare disparities between directors and employees, and limited adoption of profit-sharing financing models. These findings underscore the need for Islamic banks to enhance strategic initiatives that prioritize equitable economic development and substantive Sharia compliance, beyond mere formal adherence. Recommendations include strengthening profit-sharing mechanisms and improving zakat and welfare distribution to align with the broader objectives of Islamic economics.
2025-09-25T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 husnul khatimah, Suzanna Akter Rani
